The Innercourt

A palisade featuring a viewing tower surrounds the Innercourt, located behind the Museum on the Sturgeon River. The Innercourt is equipped with picnic tables for visitors to stop and enjoy a meal together. There is an outdoor stage and tent available for your use, which can be rented along with the Hall for events and family gatherings. The ambiance of the Innercourt is enhanced by the outdoor exhibits which include La Forge Charles Blacksmith Shop, Glacière Duquette Icehouse, & La Maison Major Pioneer Home.
