Survival Day

Youth ages 8 to 15 are invited to participate in Survival Day. The museum will host a full day of workshops with a barbecue lunch. This is an opportunity to have fun learning important skills in a fantastic environment. The featured workshops for the 7 to 11 age group will include lost-proofing, nature observation skills with awareness games. The 12 to 15 age group will learn map & compass basics, bow-drill fire making, and awareness games. They will receive information to bring home with them, along with a memorable experience. Space will be limited for this program to ensure personalized instruction and supervision, so register early.
